Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a CMA / LPN / RN for its West Ames Family Medicine office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise. Prepares patients for exams, assists physician/provider with exams and procedures as instructed, obtains accurate patient information per telephone and communicates this to the physician/provider, places orders as directed by physician. Education
+ Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
+ Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
+ Possession of a State Practical Nurse license
+ Possession of a State Registered Nurse license
+ Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Experience
+ Experience in office setting preferred
+ Epic experience preferred
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
